Worked with Carol from king of the road transport and she was great. Very low key with no pressure and worked with me as I had a logistic issue (working around my daughter's schedule to get the truck & then being able to pick it up around mine). I had been contacted by other companies, and they back stabbed other brokers, and were very high pressure.
King of the Road's price ended up being very fair too! And I would recommend them.
Only problem we had was with the transport company, auto force, that they used. They changed the pickup time twice, then changed it to the next day (was very hard on my daughter to rearrange her schedule). Then I had to drive 2 hours to Florida city as they don't come into the Keys, and meet them at Walmart parking lot. Had to call them 3 times to get time updates. Went from 1pm, to 5:30, to 7 and they finally showed up at 8pm!!! "They were tired"!!! well I was too from sitting in the Walmart parking lot from 5:30 to 8 waiting on them. Worst customer service from these 2 guys! I mean I knew it wouldn't be totally smooth, but your gps tells you exactly when you will get to a location. Am sure they picked up extra cars on the way, even after they told me they were driving straight thru to Homestead after picking up our truck in Tennessee.
Oh well, was a learning experience for sure!
