We needed to 2 trucks transported from CA to CT. The cost of each truck to be transported was $986.00 per Armando. Armando was contacted on 8/21/08 to obtain an update regarding the transport. Armando stated they were unable to reach the transporter of the vehicles and are vehicles were still sitting in front of their business. We received an e-mail from Armando on 8/22/08 stating "Congratulations, we have found a transporter for your vehicles" and the price increased to "$1460.00" per vehicle. We dropped off the trucks on 8/14/08 and the trucks are still sitting in front of their business as of todays date 9/5/08. With no confirmed pick up date as of yet w/ an increased price. Our contract was for $986.00 per vehicle, but they are unable to reach their transporter, so they can increase the price and breach the contract. This sounds very shady to me, especially when we have been waiting in CT for weeks now w/ no vehicles in sight. Sounds like they are trying to keep our cars for ransom. We will never use their service again and nothing better happen to our vehicles after this complaint is written.

Unfortunately prices are subject to change dependent on many factors. Original quote was more than 3 months old, middle of August customer decided to book transport. Customer decided to contact us on a Wednesday then drop off vehicles by Friday. I explained that if there was any change in price, that I would contact him prior to pick up. Once vehicles were here, it was apparent they were not "regular" trucks according to the information he provided online. They were extended cab full size trucks. We had many offers, between $2500 - $4000 per vehicle. Only one carrier was able to get us a really good deal of $1460 per vehicle, which he also passed on for over a week. Once he realized there were no other offers then he chose to take transport. If customer did not want to take offer, we would have had no problem cancelling and returning his deposit.
