K&C Auto Transport - Lacking Integrity

Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with K&C Auto Transport. We contracted K&C Auto to ship my daughter's car from North Carolina to Texas. Our car was scheduled to be picked up on the 5th of November and delivered Tuesday the 8th. The driver picked up our vehicle as scheduled on 11/05 in North Carolina, and got into a wreck the same day in Georgia in which our vehicle fell off the trailer onto its side. K&C Auto did not notify us that our vehicle was in an accident until we called on 11/08 to find out why it was not delivered. When we contacted K&C on the 8th, they sent an email of the driver's insurance and said our car was in an accident. The email did not give a date, time, or any information concerning the accident. I called and spoke to Philip, in which he proceeded to inform me that the driver was responsible and that they are just a dispatch service. He adamantly tried to distant K&C from any responsibility to rectify the situation. I was able to get out him, the location of my car in Georgia which was at Dean Brown Body Shop. I spoke with a kind gentleman named Kenny who let me know the date my car arrived, referred me to the Georgia State Patrol for an accident report, and took pictures of my damaged property. I contacted the driver's insurance company provided by K&C Auto to find out that their insurance policy was cancelled, and the driver was uninsured. I spoke to the driver, and he was still driving uninsured. We tried to get our deposit back from K&C Auto, and they stated that they will only refund a portion because they did provide a service by picking up my car. We have not received any refund, we have no current insurance information for a claim, and we contracted a different company to transport our car. The lack of integrity, transparency, and honesty is the reason I am leaving a review.

hello hope all is well , i would like to start off by saying i think it is you who has to question there integrity here the reason i say that is because when someone is not being honest and lying about things that shows a bit of lack of integrity and says alot about there character let me clarify . we notified you the day after your car was in an accident because that is when driver notified us there was never no email this was all phone and text , the reason i tried to distant K&C from that was simply because that is what your contract says (common sense the driver has to respond ) so we did our job by informing you of whats going on , oh yea and that kind gentleman your talking about ? i am the one who let you speak with him to try to help you , also the reason you didnt get your deposit back was because we had first agreed that we would finish the service once car is ready to be shipped , you chose to pay another deposit to another company to do the same thing there is no refunds , and lastly and i think the most shocking part is drivers cant be un insured system wont let them so to confirm this i actually pulled up this guys file and guess what it says policy begins april of 2022 and ends april 2023 so im not sure where did that come from that he is not insured and the best part this is the info i sent you so im not sure what you got going on but next time we talk about integrity you should apply it have a great day !!
