I am a soldier in the United States Army and recently got orders to move to Fort Lewis, WA. Upon hearing this, I needed a way to ship my Pontiac G6 from Georgia to Washington. After searching for about 3 days, my wife and I decided to go with Jet Auto for the task. We received a pick-up date of July 2nd, 2009. We left the car with a friend and started our journey across the country. We called our friend on July 2nd and was told the carrier said that he would be there July 4th to pick the car up because he was stuck in a traffic jam in Florida. On July 4th, my friend called and said the carrier picked the car up at 9:30 that night. The carrier called us to inform us that he was on the way with our vehicle. We finally got a call from the carrier saying that he would meet us at the gate to enter Ft. Lewis, WA on Wednesday. We said fine. My wife and I were in the process of signing a house lease so we can have a place to stay when the carrier called and said that he was at the gate with the car. I told him to give me about 45 minutes and we'll be there because we were signing a lease. He said ok. When we got finished signing the lease, I called him and he said that he left with the car because we took to long and he had somewhere else to be. I was upset because I had waited, and waited, and waited for him to pick the car up and he couldn't wait a couple of minutes for me to sign a lease. Quickly, I called Louis at Jet Auto and he said the carrier told him we had him waiting so he left with the car. After this, the carrier called and said that he would be back Wednesday night with the car. Wednesday turned into Thursday, Thursday turned into Friday and still no car. All day Wednesday and all day Thursday we waited and still no car or even a phone call. So finally Friday comes and I recieved a phone call from Louis saying that the car had been dropped off at the gate and was impounded to an impound lot. I was so furious that I didn't know what to do. First, the carrier was lying the whole time saying he was coming with the car and he had already dropped it off. Second I took time away from work thinking that the car was coming and it was here the whole time. I went to the impound lot and found out the car had been dropped off on the 9th of July and I was getting charged from the impound lot $50 a day. Then to top everything off, the carrier LOST MY CAR KEY!!!!!. So I had to pay $395 out of my pocket to get the car re-keyed for a new key and $265 to get my car out of the impound lot!!!! All Louis had to say was that he didn't know the story and the carrier said this and that. I WILL NEVER USE JET AUTO TRANSPORT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand the frustration from my customer, but I have to say that I am disappointed to get a bad review from him. I did all I could do to help but could not get to Washington state quick enough to receive the car for Jonathan ”I am in Florida” as he was not cooperating with the delivery. The truck driver called Jonathan and his wife one day before to let them know about the delivery for the next day, and also called 2 hours before arriving to the delivery location. Once the truck arrived on site to drop the car, the driver once again called Jonathan to let him know that he was there, at that moment Jonathan was not responding to the calls from me or the driver. After waiting for about 2 hours the truck driver had to leave, so he drop the car and called a local towing company to pick it up and to place it in a impound yard until Jonathan and his wife would respond and call back the driver or me. The next day Jonathan called me to ask about the car and where was the carrier, well it was too late, the car was already at a local impound yard. I gave the address to Jonathan to go pickup the car that apparently was there for 3 days, I was told, and the keys where lost, so yes the car needed to be rekeyed and once I heard that I immediately refunded the cost that he said was $300.00 for that service on Jonathan’s credit card and I ask him to faxed me the receipt so I can use it to justify the shortage to the payment for the carrier, I have never received that copy. I wish that Jonathan would have cooperated with his responsibilities and all would have gone very well with no problems.Anyone using this site for retaliation or to tarnish the reputation of the company without explaining the real facts is using this site the wrong way for the wrong reasons and it is not acceptable Thank you, Louis, Jet Auto Transport.
