JAY MORRIN the owner of Jay's auto transport gave me pick up window of 12/21 /2010 thru 01/04/2011. i had to leave on saturday 1/8 . I had already made a deposit of $190 .i called him all the time between this period to check on the status of the pick.. he kept telling he is working on it. he never called me not a single time to let me know anything. when the pick up period expired , i called him and told him how important it is for me to move on saturday the 8th and i even offered to pay $200 more on top of the already agreed fee($790). I had to call around and get a different broker to move my vehicle on the last minute. I called JAY to refund my deposit,he cursed meout called me a Liar and hang up the phone on me several times.I was very surprised at his unprofessional attitude towards me I"LL NEVER RECOMMEND HIM OR HIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY .He is a sweettalker but he just can't deliver .. i hope no one ever has to gothrough this with JAY MORIN..

I told Bernard Boateng that the vehicles would be extremely difficult to move between the 21st of December and the 2nd of January due to the holiday. I took his order! I told him the truckers would slowly get back to work in January (the coldest month of the year). He wanted two SUV's moved from Chattanooga Tennessee to Brooklyn Park, MN. (extremely cold up there). No trucks were going north during this frigid cold stormy time of the year. There were major snow and ice storms during his pick up window. By the way - record cold temperatures were reported in MN during this time period - the hydraulics on the trucks freeze in these temperatures. There was really no way to pick up the vehicles between the 3rd of January and the 5th of January (the real pick up window) due to extremely cold weather. He said I never called him! I didn't have to call Bernard because he called me three times a day everyday..(read his review again - he admits that he called me every day)!! Due to winter storms and terrible driving conditions I told him there was going to be a delay. Rather than wait - he ordered another broker to try and move it. What he doesn't admit is that he hired three brokers back in December. He offered the other broker more money than he was willing to spend with me - thus undermining all my efforts to move his vehicles. My window for pick up included the 5th of January not the 4th as he writes. When I found him a truck (just a few days later - for the original $790 price too by the way) he told me the vehicles were picked up three days earlier by another truck - he spent a fortune. I worked all weekend to line him up a truck and he didn't even have the courtesy to call me and cancel his order after his vehicles were picked up!!! How extremely rude is that? After I lined up the truck I had to pay the trucker Bernard's deposit money as the truck began rolling his way. This trucker needed to be paid for his dry run efforts. Jay's Auto Transport made $0.00. I worked very hard for Bernard - my regular customers know how hard I truly work. Had Bernard not waited and called me right away... a full refund would have been provided - he chose to be extremely unprofessional - he was the one who did all the swearing over the phone when I refused to refund his deposit. When he refused to even let me talk over the phone I hung up on him. Life is too short. Moral of the story. Never try to move your vehicle between Christmas and New Year. When there are terrible storms... truckers are not going to risk driving in these condition (at any price). Bernard - you lost your deposit because I had to pay a trucker for your failure to tell me what you did when you hired another truck. Bernard - some people are very sly and they know how this business works. You tried to abuse the system and I caught you doing it! You chose the low road by writing this mean review when all I tried to do was help you during the industry Christmas winter break. Bernard - I'm not going to pay you back $190.00 out of my personal pocket when you failed to tell me you were hiring three companies to see who was going to pick you up first. This is why we take a deposit. I was not going to screw the driver out of a proper cancellation fee he deserved when it was your fault for not communicating with me what you were doing. When trucks start rolling - there is no refund!
