Fred, lied about his fees and his quote via email, text messages and by cell phone. The car was never schedule as promised and he delayed the schedule several days in order to jack the price up! In the last minute, on a late Saturday night, he jacked up the delivery price from $1350 to $1700! Then he lied about his $100 commission. He actually tried to charge $250! With that said, he never had a trucker lined up for several days. He entered a much lower price on Central Dispatch in order to make more than the $250 fees. Fred Buono at Ironclad worked without a Contract! Plus, he did not remove me off of his Central Dispatch when told to do so. Fred uses dishonest delay tactics by saying he is with his daughter or that he is picking up his daughter. It's a lie because one can hear call center phones in the background.

EVERYONE, BEWARE OF THIS FRAUD SCAMMER SHIPPER BROKER! " IRONCLAD AUTO TRANSPORT - FRED BUONO"

I was finally able to hire another shipper broker to get my car delivered.

My name is Jim, and I am the owner of Ironclad Auto Transport. The review site only provided me with the email address of the reviewer and I do not have that email in my system as one of our customers. So I am addressing this response to Mr. Reviewer. Mr. Reviewer, First of all I would like to apologize if you had a negative experience dealing with Mr. Fred Buono. Fred Buono was never employed with Ironclad Auto Transport. He owns another transport company called Across The Globe, located in Vineland, NJ. At the end of January, Mr. Buono contacted us about our referral program. He claimed he was closing down his company, and wanted someone reliable to direct his past customers to. According to our terms and conditions with Mr. Buono, he was only permitted to direct his past customers (someone he has shipped for before, who call him inquiring about transport of their vehicle again) to Ironclad Auto Transport. He was never supposed to go into rates or explain the process of shipping a car. This is not the first complaint I have received about Mr. Buono and as of March 14, 2017 we terminated our referral agreement with Mr. Buono for violating our terms and conditions of said agreement. He is no longer a part of Ironclad Auto Transport in any capacity.
