I got hold of Interstate Auto Movers thru www.123movers.con. I received several other quotes which were even cheaper, but I then decided to go with Interstate, since Andy (Andrew Rodriguez) promised to pick up my car between 10th - 12th Sept which was very important for me. The above days come and go, but nobody picked up my car. In the end, these guys found a driver (Federal Carrier) who picked up my car. These guys advertise as providing full insurance, but in reality they do not have any insurance at all. The truck driver damaged my car and then delivered in the dark at 8.00 p.m. I was not able to inspect my car properly since there was no light, but had to sign off on the papers, without which he won't give me the car. The next day I find several dents and scratches on my car. I called Interstate and nobody would answer my call. Finally I decided to dispute the original payment that I had made via AMEX. After that Marcus (horrible guy) calls me and tells me that everything is according to the contract and I need to follow up with the truck driver for insurance. The truck driver says that I need to contact Interstate since the Contract is with them and in this entire ping pong, I ended up paying to repair my car. I will now be lodging a complaint with BBB and DOT.
Hope nobody else goes thru such an experience again.
