I was referred to Kyle at Intercede by a friend who is a car collector. He has in the neighborhood of 30+ cars and will only ship through Kyle at Intercede. When he found out that I was buying a car from out of state, he told me not to waste my time and recommended I call Kyle. He also informed me to stay away from googling how to transport your car (great advice). Mark's a long time friend but guess what I did? I did both, unfortunately. I thought Kyle was really professional and they gave me a good price but I just had to see for myself. I googled it and got slammed with emails and phone calls and even texts. I heard it all and chose a company that I thought had a competitive price, but the one thing that stayed with me was that Kyle told me if I'm not priced right, my car would not move. I was assured by this other company that my car would be picked up last Wednesday but Wednesday came and went. All of the sudden, no one was answering the phone. I got no word from anyone. Then on the following Monday evening while I was out with my family, I was told it would be much more than they originally quoted (even more than Kyle quoted). That wasn't the problem for me because I understood how it all worked, but the whole game with the guarantees put a bad taste in my mouth. It was literally word for word what Kyle told me could happen. So I cancelled my order and immediately called Kyle and booked with them. By now, it was a week and a half later and more than he quoted but he was very clear from the beginning that the price could change over time because they were quoting off what cars were paying at that time. It was only $50 more but I felt more comfortable with a guy that told me how it all works and made sure we knew what to expect. I will never call another transport company again. I know who to call. Lesson learned from Kyle ... "a cheap price is great until you need to actually get your car moved."
