I had to ship my mother's car as soon as it could be arranged to my house almost 2200 miles away. I spoke to a few companies and chose one because they promised me that they would have it picked up right away at a very low price...(big mistake). I also spoke with George at Intercede Transport Group and a bunch of other companies. George told me kind of a different story than the others and I liked him but how could I pass up getting the car picked up immediately at the lowest quote out of every one that I got? This character promised me that this would be easy and everything was guaranteed but after I booked the transport his whole attitude changed. For over a week I couldn't reach anyone at their company through phone calls, emails or Text. The funny thing is that before I booked it was very easy to reach them... When I spoke with George he told me that his quote was based off the lowest price possible and that it would take some work to get that if we were in a hurry. He warned me that choosing the wrong company would delay my transport and cost me more money and he was dead on. I must say that out of all 7 or 8 people I discussed this with, George was very thorough and I felt that he was the most honest but he was over $100 more than the company I chose. Take my advice people- if someone is cheaper but they can't get done what you need them to get done, then are you really saving money??? The answer is no you're not. When the broker I booked with finally came back with a carrier over a week after he promised, it was $150 more than he promised over a week later. I was done and cancelled immediately. I called George back and he set me right up. Even though It was 10 days later it worked out exactly as George said it would. My mom's car was on a truck within 3 days and at a better price than expected. Lesson learned. The bottom line is that most of the time you get what you pay for and trying to save a buck or two is not always the best course of action. Finding the right company who will perform the right service is the key. Thank you so much George and Intercede!!!
