Unprofessional Driver/Broker dropped the ball

My car was shipped from Massachusetts to Oregon. I must have had a brand new driver. He was a day late picking up my car and several days late dropping it off. I did not fault him for the tardiness because there were fires in Oregon and I knew that was impacting travel. However he dropped my car off around 10 PM on a Saturday night. When I pointed out damage that I immediately noticed he went on a lengthy tirade discharging about his frustrations with his chosen profession. He accused me of trying to use the damage to lower the fee. I'm a middle aged woman and I honestly felt I was being bullied. He tried convincing me that the damage was minor. I was already tired and stressed by the fire situation so I signed off on the paperwork without noting the damage. In fact, I could not even read what I was signing because it was very dark and the air was filled with smoke that night. When he learned that I was paying by credit card he blew up again. I pointed that had been approved when I placed the order to have the car shipped. Again he tried to bully me into getting the cash from my ATM, which I pointed out was impossible due to restrictions on amounts that can be withdrawn from an ATM. A week later the broker from ICAT who contracted with the driving company, checked in and inquired about my experience. I told him about the harassment from the driver. Later, I texted a photo of the damage to my car and was told that most likely nothing could be done because a week had already elapsed so the car transport company could claim that the damage had been done after they delivered the car. The car is unregistered and has not been driven other than the four blocks from where it was dropped off. The ICAT broker also said that I should have known to call him when I was having the problem with the driver. 10 PM in Oregon is 1 AM on the East Coast. What were the chances he would have answered the phone? My question is why did the ICAT broker wait until 10 days after my car was supposed to have been delivered to contact me? What was the point? He did forward insurance info along with the advice that my claim would probably not be accepted because of the lapse in time. I have had my car shipped numerous times (with other companies) and this is the first time that I experienced a problem.
