This is a terrible state of affairs and I am obliged to report this incident as a responsible citizen and service member. I have heard horror stories about negligent car shipment and never thought I would become a victim. Truly appalling experience and I am thinking of initiating a police report immediately. My car was supposed to shipped from San Diego to Rhode Island where I am currently stationed. My first sign was when the truck driver named Carlos IKTRANSPORTATIONINC indicated that he will not be able to drive his truck to the pick up location. To that end, he offered me to give him my keys so he could drive the car to the truck. I said NO. I drove all the way to RI to the pick up location and on the morning of delivery, he expressed that he had a broken hose on his truck and could not deliver my car. I was stranded as my plan was to pick up this car and be able to drive around this unknown place I found myself. I called the dispatch manager several times before I was able to get a hold of him. There was no sense of urgency in calling me back or resolving my concern. I later called the driver much later that day. When I received my car, there was a repulsive smell stemming from the trunk which was completely soaked with moisture, the rear passenger seat floor board was completely soaked as well, there were visible oil stains all over my leather interior, and there was atleast THREE HUNDRED MILES unaccounted for. To make matters worse, my car is not driving the same. To my chagrin, the truck driver vehemently proclaimed he was not responsible for anything, tossed me the bill of laden and demanded that I sign. I have since sent an email to IKTRANSPORTATIONINC and no phone call. I am now left with a repugnant stench, I vandalized car interior and possible mechanical problems to my car. Please stay away completely from this company and do everything possible to protect yourself from this terrible set of circumstance.
