I was in shock when I scheduled a pickup date of Friday...and on Friday...the auto company was there waiting on the vehicle I purchased to get out of the Ford Dealership. The dealership wasnt going to be done with the vehicle until Saturday...so the transport company had to reschedule pickup.

I was concerned about rescheduling due to the fact that I was going out of town on vacation for two weeks. I contacted ICS and gave them my alternate contact and his number. The ICS rep repeated the instructions on who to call on what dates if the car was to be delivered.

I get a phone call while I'm 9 days into my vacation...and it's my buddy back at home that is helping me out with the pickup. He's worried because we have not heard from anyone. I assured him not to worry...and that I havent heard from anyone so it shouldnt be much longer. He calls me back a few minutes later...and apparently someone brought my vehicle to my address...failed to contact me or my buddy...and decided to leave a note on my door saying to call and find out where my car is. I called the transport company (Broadway) and repeatedly got an answer machine for two days. Luckily, my loyal friend went from Tow yard to tow yard...and came across my pristine car sitting in a rough neighborhood tow yard in a dirt field. We were able to contact the tow yard...and arrange for my buddy to pick up the vehicle. At least someone finally knew where the car was.

I was upset that I hadnt heard from anyone nor had my established contact.

Four days later....I had been home for two days and my buddy calls me. He informed me ICS contacted him that day and wanted to let him know they had a vehicle ready to be delivered and they were going to try and setup another delivery. He laughed...and told them "No you dont". Of course, they were confused...and he had to tell them he had already picked up up days earlier...and for them not to worry about it.

I'm glad to know they kept us "updated". I wasnt completely dissatisfied with the delivery...because it did get delivered. It just seems that everything else was a complete nightmare. I had thought all the high ratings were a good sign...but apparently I paid the high price and got the shaft on the service side. I could have gone with anyone for that kind of money.....I guess I know now.
