Bought a late model used car from a dealership in New Jersey on March 24. They recommended High End and had Angel from that company contact me. The quote seemed reasonable considering distance and today's fuel costs. Angel said they would "pick it up in a couple of days" and it would "take 3-4 to get it to me" in Texas and that it would be "on our own truck". The dealer told me it would get picked up Monday, March 31, and delivered the weekend of the 5th. Then he said it WAS picked up on April 2, Wednesday, then Angel said it was finally picked up April 4th, Fridayl The car was not actually picked up until Monday. April 7th and then by Raber's Auto Transport. Why can't any of these people tell the TRUTH??? Then someone at Raber's told me it would arrive on Thursday or Friday, Apri 10 or 11. When it did not, Raber's did not return my calls. Then Jackie at High End said she was doing everything she could to get me information but that it looked like it would arrive the 12th or 13th. Jackie was honest and helpful every time I spoke with her - she was the ONLY ONE. The truck driver finally called me Sunday morning the 13th and said he would arrive around 4-5 pm. At 6:15 he said he was delayed and it would be 9-9:30. At 9pm he said it would be 10:30 or 11pm and I said I'll see you Monday morning then!!!
So I had two weekends when I could plan nothing. I was lied to over and over again by everyone except Jackie. Oh, and when was my credit card charged for this transport? On March 24th, the day I bought the car. Oh, and watch Raber because on the bill of lading, where they mark blemishes on the car they used the finest of fine pen points and the marks are on lines so as to be virtually invisible and they were not coded as to what kind of blemish as they are supposed to be.
I've had many cars transported in my life. This wasn't the worst experience ever. It was second to worst.

Wayne we understand that this transaction did not go as planned and we are TRULY sorry. Sometimes there are uncontrollable delays that are caused by the destination of the vehicle, the dealer or the rising fuel prices. Carriers can no longer just grab cars and go they have to be very picky about what each vehicle is paying and the exact mileage it is traveling. We try to select the carriers carefully and in the past Rabers has done a good job. We don't know why he was so late and unfortunately he has not provided us with an explanation. We have removed him from our list of approved carriers and we have not used his company since. We are happy to hear that Jackie was trying to do her jobof updating you under those conditions, she is definately an asset to our company.
