Misbilled and given wrong information

My car was delivered today so I will summarize the issues I had.

John was my primary contact and was very easy to deal with when setting up the transport. Once set up, things fell apart. I was unable to reach him on the day my car was to be picked up and the car was not picked up on time. John then gave me incorrect information about why it was not picked up and then gave me the wrong information about when the car would be picked up and dropped off. Heartland claims that all of these errors were mistakes and not lies, either way they did not perform their job as I would have expected.

After inquiring about why my car was not picked up on time and being given the wrong information I have not heard from John again. He did not follow up with the right information and has not called to verify the car was delivered.

Heartland Trucking charged my credit card $350 instead of the $100 deposit that was listed on the contract. They did not bother to inform the driver of this so he tried to charge me $250 COD. If you have used Heartland I would check to verify that you were not double billed.

Mike, the driver that delivered the car works for Wheelin Wheels. He was professional and kept in contact with me throughout the shipment. I will use him again, but I will not use Heartland Trucking again.

Mr. Fleege, Firstly, you are well aware that it was not appreciated that you posted a bad review even before the vehicle was scheduled to be picked up. John Anthony made a simple human error by clicking "Shipper Invoice" instead of "COD" on the actual dispatch sheet, which caused our Billing Dept Manager, Stacey Bell, to fall under the impression that we were in fact relaying the funds to the driver. Secondly, the very moment you brought this to our attention, the matter was quickly resolved within hours. I feel it entirely unfair and inappropriate that you bad-mouth our company since you will not find ONE review stating anything that have you stated. You were picked up and delivered WITHOUT a bump up in price. Lastly, I stand verily proud, and always will, that my tight ship shall never even so much as resemble my competition. We are honest, we ship our orders, and we always come through. For future reference and regard, a wise customer once said to me "You can please the masses, but you can't please the asses"...
