I hired Head of the Pack transport to take my car from upstate NY to Colorado Springs Co. Todd was extremely nice and helpful over the phone and was reachable when ever I called. He told me that if I wasn't ready to ship the car when he had a trucker, we could refuse it and then hire the next one, making it sound like it was no big deal to refuse. The initial date he offered to pick up the car, was not a possibility because the car was being repaired, which I did warn him about. So I had to refuse the first offer.
However, the car never got picked up because I don't think he knew where the cities were that were involved. No truckers wanted to come to my small upstate town or go to Colorado Springs. He was charging 745.00 and was willing to reduce his portion of the fee to increase the trucker's portion but that didn't help. After about two weeks he suggested I use a self serve trucking service. I then contacted another broker and the car went the next day. I think this broker may not have had as many contacts to truckers as he led me to believe. I would have appreciated him refusing the job rather than stringing me along. I would be careful to ask about the possibility of a pick up in a small town. Although this didn't work for me, Todd was very polite and did try his best it may be worth trying, but be prepared to send the car when the trucker says let's go.

A trucker was dispatched for this job immediately after receiving the order but the car was not ready to be picked up. I was not informed of this so we had to wait a few days and then re-list it as available for pickup. We located a 2nd trucker 7 days later but the customer was using more than one broker and another broker got the call first. I totally disagree with this review.
