Lack of Customer Service

I shipped my car from Chicago IL to Honolulu December 2016. Hawaii Car Transport offers poor service and their business practices are questionable. After my car was picked up I never heard back from Hawaii Transport until my car was delivered. Items in my car were STOLEN (by the carrier MATSON) and the representative I spoke to at Hawaii Car Transport told me I couldn't do anything. When I placed my order I was told by one person to leave the car empty and told by another employee I could put a few small items in the car. I was also told if they were rejected I could arrange for separate shipping at my expense. So I proceed with the order and I was charged $2345.00 once my car was picked up. When I told Hawaii Transport my personal items were stolen. I WAS TOLD YOU SHOULD HAVE READ THE CONTRACT IT STATES THE CAR MUST BE EMPTY. I told them I was advised by an employee that a few small items are ok. Once again I was told what the contract states. I told them MATSON was responsible. I was told to file a claim with MATSON and that there was nothing Hawaii Car Transport would do.
I have shipped two cars with Hawaii Car Transport at a cost of approximately $4600. My claim was roughly $600.00. To be clear I called and emailed Hawaii Car Transport several times and no one would respond to me. The only reason I was called because I left a voicemail stating I would call my credit card company and dispute the charges if no one called me back. The level of customer service I received from this company can only be described as horrible and disrespectful. I was told a lie in order to get a sale. I have no idea where my personal items are and I have heard absolutely nothing more from Hawaii Car Transport. If you use them good luck
