The initial communication and the price were good, the car was even picked up ahead of schedule. It all then started to go dowen hill. I had very poor communication with the driver, hi was told on three occasions that the driver would be contacting me regarding who to make the bank check out to and delivery time. My first contact from the driver was at 5pm the day before delivery. When I called the driver the following morning as he did not call me back the night before to let me know when he was coming I finally got a time frame. When the car was finally delivered, I discovered that the car was transported backwards and the passenger door had flown open while in route, causing significant damage and trim loss. Never less to say, the driver and Gran turismo are stating that they are not responsible for this and are doing nothing about it as they were not made aware that they had to strap the doors shut. After receiving the damaged vehicle, I contacted the seller of the car who informed me that he had warned the driver to strap the doors twice before he left with it. Given that it is a vehicle that is in need of restoration, the company considered it totaled and does not do pick up and drop off inspections. This was my first experience not transporting a vehicle myself, be careful, get signed statements and documentation as this company will not handle your property with any care.
