Shipping a vehicle seemed like a logistical nightmare, but Ellen @ Gold Star really made the process simple and painless. After doing some initial research, I decided to contact Gold Star to ship a friend's vehicle from Tennessee to Nevada because their quote seemed reasonable and I had read some good reviews. They also weren't harassing me daily with calls and texts like some of the other carriers I looked at. I definitely made the right choice! Ellen provided the kind of personal attention that we needed, making sure that everything was taken care of with minimal effort from me. Here are some of the reasons why I recommend Gold Star for your car shipping needs: 1. The price was transparent and competitive; there were no surprise fees or up-charges. 2. They got the vehicle shipped FAST! I scheduled the shipping on Thursday, received the contract and insurance documents on Friday, the car was picked up from Nashville, TN on the following Monday, and was delivered in Reno, NV on Wednesday morning. 3. Gold Star handled everything, including getting payment from me, coordinating the pickup and delivery with the carrier company and the vehicle owner (my friend), and providing final payment to the delivery driver (which means I didn't have to deal with providing cash to the driver unlike some other brokers). I really didn't know what to expect since I've never shipped a car across the country before, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the whole process was with Gold Star.
