Of all the transporters who asked me to contact them regarding my quote request, Ellen was the Only one who was readily accessible (she answered my call while walking her dog). Her Quote and final price was 20%-40% lower than the other companies. While I was anxious to get my shipment done immediately, Ellen called me and explained the process clearly so that I was able to relax and leave the "driving" to her. For example, she explained that there are many truckers in my area that are available now but she has to vett each and ever one of them in regards to driving records, Insurance, serious reviews and bonding etc. She was able to find the right driver who completed the pickup the same day. Meanwhile I was provided with up to date logistics including all the necessary information all the way up to the destination. Most outstanding was the fact that the price that was quoted originally was the price I paid at the end of the transaction. There was no hidden fees or surprises like I encountered with another Shipper before talking to Ellen. Ellen runs an honest, efficient and professional organization and I can't wait to tell family and friends about Ellen at Gold Star Transport. I am very happy and satisfied.
