Please at all cost don’t use this carrier. I was linked with this carrier from a broker and they assured me they were professional and insured. While I did need a car transported that had rear damage to the driver side and the car wasn’t drivable. Also the front driver wheel had to be moved side to side manually. They knew this when they took the load. Spoke to them verbally and sent pictures. First let’s start with the fact the car is a rear wheel drive honda S2000 “rare hard to find parts” The driver made it to the house and came with no tools or anyway to get my car out from The closed trailer. Claimed that the front wheels were locked. Well clearly they would be locked if he doesn’t even have a jumper cable or a jumper box to start the car since it’s an electronic power steering. I provided him with a jack and and “rope” to tie it to my Jeep since he ask me to pull it out as he instructed me best he could since he didn’t speak English. Before we attempted to move the vehicle. He jacked up the front the car even after I told him that it’s a rear wheel drive car and that he can’t just jack the front without looking where the jack was going in. Again he didn’t speak English and words got lost in translation. I told him no multiple times in a matter of seconds he jacked up the front of the car by the ac dryer and broke both the dryer the dryer line. He then ask me to remove the bumper with hand signals. And I did, he then jacked it up again and try pulling the car to one of the sides the jack slide with the car onto the side of the trailer inside. Denting my perfect fender and he then nervous I’m assuming Lowed the jack with the fender Against the wall now the fender stretched past the headlight and scratch the light as well. At that point I told him to stop leave it along I called a family member of mine to help me take the car out. We try to figure out how to do it as that is not our profession. We ended up calling my mechanic who billed me for coming out with his help we were able to bring down the car with no further damage. I paid the driver the amount agreed thinking I would just deal with them tomorrow and their insurance since he didn’t speak English. Also once the damage was done I immediately text the person I’ve been texting the whole time prior to the car getting there. Informing them that the damage was done to my vehicle. They never text back or called me not that day or the next. After speaking to their insurance they opened a claim and sent me a letter of how the process would go. And to cut to the point. Their ins only covers after 2500 that the ins owner “the carrier” most pay me directly. The adjuster came out and the claim was for 2859 and the extra 359 the insurance company is saying may not be covered either. I eventually got the transporter owners number. Spoke to him a few times. Once the adjuster gave the estimate amount for repairs The owner of the transport company stop taking my calls and doesn’t look like he planning on paying. Please don’t use this carrier. I will be leaving my feedback on every place I can leave a review and also will be taking the company to small claims.
