Transportation was ordered for 2 vehicles from Linden, Utah to Houston, TX. When asked if Global had their own trucks or brokered loads to contractors, we were informed that the transportation was handled in house with company owned vehicles. This was not the case. The load was given to an independent driver and delivered in late September 2011. Damage occurred to both vehicles during the transport. The repair ticket on one of the vehicles totaled $4,300. We have been promised several times by both Global Auto Carriers and the independent contractor that payment would be provided. As of February 2012, no payment has been provided. Global will not return numerous communication attempts. It appears we will incur the costs of this damage. The lack of concern and communication is unacceptable, and we will not use any company associated with Global Auto Carriers again.
