TLDR: Go find another carrier and save yourself the trouble. My friend and I worked with Diana at getcarrier and it was the biggest headache. The plan was to ship a car from TX to CA and although we put in a job request months out, we never got updates and the office and Diana were essentially impossible to get ahold of. There was even a point when we tried to confirm what date we agreed for pickup a month out because we forgot and they responded with “it’s too early we’ll let you know when it gets closer to the date”. We were told we’d get updated on an exact date and time of the pickup 2 days before and we heard nothing until the evening the day the pickup was supposed to happen. Diana finally reached out about a pickup around 5pm on the day the car was supposed to be picked up (unfortunately we had our schedules planned to be home all day for a pickup that never happened) and then not only were we charged $200 more than agreed on, but we were given “a nonnegotiable rate” last minute, and the car didn’t even get picked up until 2 days after the agreed date. My friend who was paying stated that she was not told until the contract was signed that there was a $150 deposit due then and the rest was due in CASH at drop off. The driver even told me that Diana was essentially harassing him to pick up my car ASAP and calling him 14+ times including at 4am and not understanding that he had other cars to drop off on his schedule. He almost canceled my car pickup due to not wanting to deal with Diana anymore. My car was delivered safely and my driver was extremely pleasant, but you certainly get what you pay for in the carrier company.
