This was my first experience transporting a vehicle and it was smooth sailing with Denis at GetCarrier. After reaching out to many companies and receiving initial quotes (which are low quotes to only get your attention), these brokers then come back with the actual price which is much higher than their original quote. I learned that the actual price depends on the customer's time frame, driver availability and the driver's price. The actual transport is contracted out to a vehicle transportation company. You make an initial payment up front then you pay the driver upon delivery. Denis with GetCarrier gave me a firm price which wasn't too unreasonable from their original quote and I received all the carrier information once the contract was signed. The carrier company was Sigma Transportation and my point of contact was Melinda. Anytime I called Melinda she was very responsive and helpful. She kept me informed throughout the entire transport. The driver contacted me to give me his eta on the day of delivery and he was very friendly and polite throughout the drop off and final payment process. If I ever needed to transport a vehicle again I would make one phone call to Denis at GetCarrier. He and Melinda with Sigma Transportation make a great team.
