When researching a company to ship by car from a suburb of Chicago to Las Vegas the choices were endless. However, you think you found a company until you start to read the reviews. We found Getcarrier and started to read the reviews, we liked that they mentioned people’s names that helped them (from the company) with this process. We spoke with Eva and from the start she was assuring that first off, my car would be fine and that the price was locked in. When you read reviews (other carriers) they mention about potentially being charged more upon arrival of the car. So, we signed the agreement and sent over the cc authorization form for Getcarrier portion. Eva walked us through what the next few steps were. This helped because you are giving someone your car to transport. Ok, you are allowed up to 100lbs to fit in your truck (which was nice). They were supposed to pick up my car on a Thursday, on Tuesday I received a call staying that there was a truck that could take my car on Wednesday. Perfect! Received a call the night before for my pickup on Wednesday. Wednesday mid-morning the (what I called) a transport truck came to pick up my car. Within 15 minutes he was gone. I did not receive any information or updates from when they picked up till, they dropped off. I received a call on Monday from a Las Vegas office stating my car was going to be dropped off. I was to give this person the remaining balance in cash. I met him, walked around my car 3xs nothing damaged (whew) no nicks either. I payed the driver and gave him a tip (hoping he would be splitting with truck driver the tip), I highly dought this happened which is sad. I recommend Getcarrier 150%, from start to finish! Thanks, EVA, for all of your help and communication through this process.
