I was very nervous about this process - hiring a company sight unseen. But I made contact with GetCarrier and they sent an estimate for hauling a Prius from MA to MI. While I was in the process, I got calls from other haulers warning me that the industry was not regulated and I would end up paying more than the prices quoted. Unfortunately, this did happen, The price quoted was $675.00 and I ended up paying $800.00. As I was getting quotes from other haulers - they were all coming in at over $1,000. so I believe GetCarrier underestimated. In the end, I do believe $800 was a fair price - although not the quoted price - and I must admit Victoria was so great at keeping me informed, giving me the actual haluler's contact information that her exceptional service made the price less painful. The car arrived on time and without any damage. I would use again - but be more firm than the quote is the price and no up charging.
