the p/u and delivery time was great. Amy at the co. did a super job. My problem was when the vehicle arrived in eugene, oregon, my 57 belair had been hit on the passinger door. the 57 was on the ground when my wife and I arrived to pick it up. I checked out the 57 and immediatly saw the damage. I question the driver and he said that when he got in the car to get it off the truck it rolled back and hit a post on the truck. craig the driver said that he had the emergency brake set but that it did not hold. I got in the car, set the brake and tried to drive and it killed the motor. brake did work. craig the truck driver said that the company was not liable for damage if the cars brakes did not work. craig also stated that he had to move the car on and off the truck about a dozen times b/4 he got here. the driver also said that he was going to remove those side bars as he had hit other cars before and that they were a nusiance. I did not want to argue with the driver so paid him and took car home. I would not use this driver again because he is not honest. I think the company was responsible for my damages. I cannot believe that the company does not have libility insurance to pay for these things.this is a classic 57 belair that had been all restored frame off. There were 2 witnesses there also that seen the damage, they were passing by and came over to see the car. they both own old cars and restore them.

When the carrier picked up the vehicle everything was working fine but when he went to move it on the trailer the brakes failed and that is what caused the damange to the vehicle and as it states in my contract my carriers are not responsible for that because the customer advised the brakes were in working condition and if they were not it would have been treated as a non-op vehicle... i did apologize to the customer for this but it was not something my carriers could of controlled nor was it do to driver negligence. it was the cars brakes that failed.
