Overall Amy of GT Auto Transport did an excellent job keeping the price to a minimal and finding a carrier to do the haul. While researching different companies I found they ranged (for my transport) between 750 and 1500 dollars. Most said you wont pick those trucks up for less than $1000. I had two big trucks hauled from CA to WI, one was a 1976 Highboy w/ 35" tires and the other was a 1990 Blazer w/ 4" lift and 33" tires. This takes the right carrier to pick these up. Most don't want to deal w/ large old trucks. The first carrier, Palazo Enterprise Inc picked up the 76 Ford within a day or two but when he got there Amy said he blew a gasket over the size of the tires. I didn't know how big they were at that time. George the driver wanted $250 bucks more but later agreed to $100 bucks more. Next, he let the air out of the tires to reduce it's height instead of arranging the load accordingly. Well guess what happen when he got to WI? Thats right FLAT tires off the bead. It took a tow truck to remove it from the carrier.Amy is working on getting compensation from Palazo's driver for that tow truck expense. Good luck with that! She said she will not use that driver again. The Blazertook 12 days from projected pick up day to actual delivery day. The first carrier pasted on the truck after he showed up for the pick up, said it was too tall. We gave him the size of the tires, the lift kit info, and even measured the overall height (6'7") of the truck ahead of time. I honestly don't think he can read english. That wasn't Amy's fault. Amy did however get another carrier to pick it up rather quickly. The next guy was very professional and did a great job w/ the delivery. Even with some of the issues I had with the carriers I would use Amy of GT Auto Transport again. The bottom line is, you have to go with the ratings and the reputation of the company!! Thats what adds up.
