I hadn't shipped a car in over ten years and never around a major holiday and terrible winter weather. You should be aware that cars to be shipped are listed on a common data base and tuckers don't plan their load until the last minute. Plus drivers do not run over New Years and certainly not in snow and ice.They also will pick off the higher priced orders. So a low price may not serve you well in tight times. I contracted with one broker who could not schedule a pickup and then contacted several others including Froland. Jim Hamilton moved more quickly than thee others in getting a driver so i gave him the order. The driver contacted us directly and got through very difficult weather taking a few more days than usual. All's well that ends well. One comment would be that there was minimal contact once the driver picked up my car.
