I wanted to move a car from WA to GA to which Froland contacted me to say they HAVE trucks that move cars from WA to GA twice a week (I have correspondence to prove). Not only do they NOT have their own trucks, but they outsourced the job which is not an uncommon practice. However, when the truck arrived, I call Chuck concerned that it didn't have the Froland business name on logo on it, Chuck bluntly lied that it was their truck even when the driver confirmed it wasn't. Froland uses scared tactics such as the one quoted below from one of their emails to me: "85% are from brokers without trucks, just a phone and a computer." It seems brokering is prevalent thing in this industry, this I got from the driver of the non-Froland truck that picked up my car, however, Froland out rightly pointed out that they were not brokers and that they had their own trucks hence the reason I picked them. My most obvious question is why lie even in their initial and subsequent emails to me. Oh by the way, Chuck will purport that he is an honest senior citizen who used to be a Marine etcetera etcetera just to get your business.

Froland Auto Transport was so disjointed from the process they had no idea when the car was delivered. When my car was delivered, I promptly paid the driver since it was a COD delivery. I have retained counsel to fight Froland Auto Transport on their false claims of having their own trucks since that was the reason I selected them.

If you are reading this and have any questions, I urge you to reach out to me and I will provide you with details of my experience. I can say I will never use them again and I have learned from this experience that you can deal directly with transporters (Froland Auto Transport is a broker "with a phone and computer"). Dealing directly with transporters costs less and they are the ones with the insurance coverage NOT Froland as they claim.

Chuck Dunaway was a dishonest representative of Froland Auto Transport, however, it is unclear whether or not Froland Auto Transport is an honest company.

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This customer, Chiadi Obi, who goes by several names in his correspondence and his order information, placed the order knowing it was dispatched to one of our Northwest affiliates that we have used for many years. Not once did we say that this truck was owned by us, but that it was from a company listed in the fleet of trucks under contract to us to book onto. We picked up his vehicle on time and delivered it on time as requested, but Mr. Obi refused to answer the calls and emails we made to him until we threatened to turn him over to collections. He refuses to pay, stating that he doesn't care about his credit rating or about paying his debts as he states in his emails to us. Threatening violence to the driver if we send him to pickup the car or his final payment he owes. This is the reason we do not take full payment via credit card and now we require an approved credit/debit card on file before we dispatch a truck. Scammers such as this cause more problems than they care about. And he claims to be a financial advisor/consultant. Beware of Contila Consulting Services as I believe this person would not hesitate to scam everyone. So...in ending, he signed a contract to transport his vehicle for a said price, we moved his vehicle, and now he doesnt want to pay what he contracted and received. Jim Hamilton Update...this customers wife paid their bill and apologized for her husbands rude behavior..Jim
