When I was looking for a transport company to transport my son's car from Washington State to California about three weeks ago, I was contacted by Chuck Dunaway at Froland Transport. I decided to go with his company as he said he could arrange to have the car picked up either on November 7 or November 8, and then be delivered on November 12 to my son at San Diego Naval Base. The truck driver was supposed to contact me a few hours before pick up. Well, yesterday (11/7/2013) passed by and so early this morning (11/8/2013), I decided to call to check on when the truck would arrive. I was told by Mr. Dunaway that he would check on it and call me back. I never got a call back from him. I then found a different number and spoke to a different worker and he told me that they hadn't hired a truck driver yet. He then said trucks were headed in this direction and had a real problem because the car is located on the west coast and their company was located back east. What a joke! I have been told that Froland Transport was a reputable company. That is false! Where is the customer service? Why promise certain dates and then not follow through with that promise? I warn anyone considering the use of
Froland Transport. Do not waste you time making arrangements with them! If I were to rate them, I couldn't even give them one star. Now, I have to start my search all over again!

Kathleen, was a very impatient person, she called everyday and sent emails everyday to confirm her transport. She was scheduled for pickup on the 7th/8th and called both days to confirm her pickup time, she contacted Chuck in the morning and he in turn contacted dispatch who in turn sent a message to the driver for an update on his schedule. At noon she called again, but Chuck was at lunch and another agent to the call, but she only gave the last name and unfortunately he looked up a different order of the same last name that was being transported from the East coast to the West and hadnt been assigned to a driver as yet. Without confirming with her order # or checking her order online she cancelled her order with this agent. When we did get an answer back from the driver, she was on schedule to be picked up between 8-10pm that evening. If there is 1 thing we ask every client to understand, these are 60-80 ft trucks carrying from 6-10 cars at a time and dealing with weather, traffic and customer issues...they are not a taxi cab!
