Jan is an excellent, honest driver; car arrived in perfect condition

I used a broker called Cascade Vehicle Shipping to schedule the transport of my Honda Element from Massachusetts to California. On August 11, I was informed that Freightport would pick up my car on August 15, and that I needed to speak with Freightport directly to work out the pick-up details.

The phone support in Freightport's office was quite flaky XXXthere was only one dispatcher and he was never available when I called on 3 separate occasions, and no one else in the office could help me. Finally, I got a hold of Nomic on August 13, who surprised me when he said that the driver, Jan (sp? pronounced "Yan"), would be by earlier than expected, on the 14th, to pick up my car in Boston. This was a huge inconvenience for me, but it all worked out in the end. Whatever stress or anxiety I had about shipping my car evaporated when I started working with Jan. Every time I called his cell, he would answer, and he was very friendly and accommodating. When he picked up my car, he was super professional and reliable. And I was surprised and elated to see that my car would be transported in a covered semi-trailer! My car was ready for delivery 6 days later on August 20 in Los Angeles, and Jan re-worked his driving schedule so I could get my car on the 21st instead, which was the day I arrived. My car didn't have a single scratch or speck of dust on it. All of my personal belongings that I had stored in my car arrived safely too.

In the end, I couldn't be happier with the service I received! My car was shipped safely and securely, with no damage or dirt whatsoever. And the price of $1385 was $200 less than other quotes. Jan is an honest, professional and reliable driver, and once I started working with him I didn't have a single worry.
