I received a good deal on this transport and appreciated Daniel taking $100 off his regular brokerage fee...$100 for the fee. The charge for the carrier was $350. The total cost was $450.

I did not receive a call 24 hours prior to pickup of my car at the dealership. The call happened 30 minutes before the driver arrived. Also, the driver showed up, but after he could not immediately find the car, he left for another pickup nearby. The driver did not return for nearly 4 hours! The broker had been informed from the driver's dispatcher that the car had been picked up when it had not since I received confirmation of this by the salesperson 3 hours after the car was scheduled for pick up. The broker did not know these facts and was not able to reach the driver or his dispatcher. Finally I called the driver's cell phone myself and he confirmed he was in the process of picking up my car at that moment. This was over 4 hours later!

The driver informed me he would not be delivering the car on time, Friday afternoon, but instead on Saturday afternoon since he had missed a pickup and had to return to get it. Very frustrating!

The car did arrive one day late, but in excellent shape. The driver was apologetic about being a day late. In the end it did not make that much difference, but the lack of communication regarding the status of the pickup and delivery was very nerve racking.

I am undecided whether I would use Freight Brokers in the future based on this experience and the fact I know from previous car shipments it can be much more stress free than this.
