The overall experience was OK. The delivery was not as good as I expected. Fleet Express was actually a broker in this transaction. Fleet was able to find another carrier to pick up my car on time. My car was delivered on time, OK.
2 things not quite good.
1) Not really door-to-door. The driver drives a big truck (loaded with many cars) when he picked up my car and delivered it. He could not actually do it door-to-door, because his huge truck could not come in to any narrow street. As a result, I had to drive my car to a nearby place (walking distance) to find his truck, actually at roadside. When delivering my car, the same thing happened, except this time we did it in the center of a 5-lane road.
2)Cash only, or cashier's check. Fleet express only took a brokerage fee in the front. I had to give cash to the driver. But Fleet and the driver did NOT me that and I had totally no idea that I need cash. So what happened was that the driver request cash when delivering my car, and I did not have it. Personal check not good! So I had to find an ATM around and get a lot of cash. Because the ATM is not my bank, I had to pay some surcharge!!!
