Typical bait and switch. They tell you one thing over the phone and then have something different on the paperwork. I should have ran away when I realized that. They contacted me after inputting information on Moving.com. At that time the price was reasonable but shipping date was flexible. After 4 or 5 weekly calls I politely asked them to stop calling me and that I would call them when I was ready to book. I also asked if the price would still be valid. I was told yes. When I finally called to book I was then told that the price went up. When I tried to remind them that I was told the price would be honored I was given an alternative. Rather than picking the day the car would be picked up, I could set a window (standby) to have car picked up. I agreed and was sent paperwork. When I got the paperwork I questioned the young lady and was told don't worry we started your day on such and such date. At this point I got emails every day saying I would be contacted when driver was assigned and would be receiving a call later that day. Driver never assigned and the only calls were the ones I made. As the window was coming to a close I called asking when I was getting picked up. I was informed that there was no guarantee that I was only on standby, if I wanted to get picked up I could pay extra.I was called back and given 2 different date ranges. I took the one that worked best.I received an email with a dispatcher and who was taking my vehicle. Come day one I hear nothing so I reach out to find out when I will be picked up. I am told that I will be picked up on that day in the afternoon.I call back later to verify and am told they will get my car around 5pm. When 5pm comes and goes I reach out to all parties only to get voicemails. On the second day of my pickup window I call dispatcher again. I'm informed that they can't get in touch with driver. I reach out to Fidelity again and they say We will call you back in 30 minutes. I call back an hour later after not hearing from Fidelity. I am told they are waiting to hear back. I ask to speak to the person who I booked this with on the previous week(Eddie) and am assured they will pick up my car. I am then told that they have pulled the job from the first company and put it back out. About 20 min later I receive a call asking if it would be okay to pick it up 2 days later. I say no.we were clear on this. Eddie says I"ll get back to you. By 2pm I haven't heard back after several calls to them. I finally reach someone and ask if I"m getting picked up today. Cant answer. When I tell them I want to cancel the order they say I have to send an email. They can't do it over the phone.
Everything about this company is shady. They speak in vague terms and generalities. At one point during this ordeal Eddie told me that the person I spoke with never said the things I stated. I agreed to disagree with this individual.

Avoid this company. I will be reaching out to the Department of Consumer Protection regarding Fidelity's business practices in CT.
