I contacted FedEx to transport our 2000 Mercedes back home to Northern Virginia after completing a 6-month job-related detail in Southern California. After a very bad experience shipping our car out west using a broker (the finish was damaged and there was absolutely no accountability from the various companie[s] who actually transported the car), I was less concerned about cost than quality of service. A neighbor of mine in Northern VA had used FedEx recently, and I called him to find out whether he had been satisfied. I got a very strong endorsement and called FedEx around 10 days before I needed the car picked up.

Even though FedEX told me that they could not promise an exact pickup day, our car was actually picked up on the optimum day I had mentioned to the agent. Hal, the driver, was extremely careful and loaded the car on his closed carrier in only about 30 minutes. Both he and Renee, the FedEx agent, were extremely helpful and easy to contact throughout the shipment period. My car arrived in exactly the same condition it had been in when it was loaded, and within the promised 7-14 day delivery period.

I could not be more pleased. I will use this company again without hesitation. They are real professionals.
