I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with FedEx Custom Critical, from my initial contact to not only the final delivery of the car, but subsequent follow up by the husband and wife driving team. I purchased a 1933 Pontiac from an owner in Chittenango , NY (just south of Schnectedy), and needed to have it transported to Glenview, IL (about 25 miles north of Chicago). This was my first experience in having an car shipped, and one way or another I found my way to TransportReviews.com and began checking out reviews. I chose FedEx Custom Critical both because of their ratings and because I felt that the affiliation with FedEx should provide a little more confidence that the company would stand behind its work. I made the right choice! The company contact, Matt Haynes, kept me informed all along the way, and was quick to respond to any question I had about the shipping process or the status of the job. He was courteous and helpful from the get go, and a true professional.

Once Matt handed the job off to the driving team, the experience continued to be excellent. The driving/transport team of Mike and Cindy White were a pleasure to work with - if you can, ask for them by name!. They kept in contact via cell phone during the journey, making arrangements for a drop off point since I live in a gated community that would be too large to accomodate their truck. I was out of town on business during the actual delivery, but Mike and Cindy worked with my daughter on delivery day. She said they were two of the nicest people she ever met, and that they were extremely careful in unloading the car and driving it to my home. And the experience didn't end there. Shortly after delivering the car, Mike and Cindy sent me a personal letter explaining how they transported the car and thanking my daughter for her assistance during delivery. They also included photos of the car at the time of pick-up in NY, and showing their truck (which I didn't get the chance to see in person). How often do you get service like that these days, not just in auto shipping, but in any service? It's a rarity. Matt, Mike and Cindy are special people, and made the entire experience a pleasure instead of an ordeal. Simply the best!
