STAY AWAY! THIEVES AND LIARS!!!

1. Express Delivery caused $6450 total damage to my two cars.
2. Express Delivery driver demanded $70 cash (above the contract price) on delivery before he would turn over the keys.
3. Express Delivery called me a liar and have denied all responsibility despite the fact that 3 independent mechanics have sworn that the damage could have ONLY been caused by the movers.
4. When I called their insurance company to file a claim, their insurer told me they receive complaints about ED “quite frequently” and my complaint was not surprising.
5. My insurance company and the body shop have no doubts that Express Delivery caused the damage they are denying. We have pursued the matter in court.

My two vehicles (Tacoma and Corolla) were damaged by Express Delivery in our recent move from Georgia to Washington. We have received estimates to repair both vehicles: $2,850 Tacoma and $3,600 Corolla.
Also, we were charged $70 above the contract price upon delivery. The driver literally told us to hand him cash before he would give us the keys! Scoundrels!!

While attempting to remedy this situation with the company directly, I have been hung up on three times, screamed at once and have yet to receive a return email or phone call. The manager even refuses to give me his last name (Fred Zhapano). The damage to my vehicles is extensive and Express Delivery is attempting to avoid responsibility in an unprofessional, sneaky manner.

Express Delivery has denied all responsibility. The experts at the body shop all swear that the damage COULD NOT have been done by a collision. The experts swear that this damage could have ONLY been done during a transport.

Express Delivery has been nothing but rude, offensive, and deceitful. I called the morning after delivery and got no return call. I began emailing on day-2 and never received a reply email. I have asked politely for them to work with me on this. I even told Express Delivery that I understand accidents happen and that’s why we have insurance… their response was to hang up on me and call me a liar.

Express Delivery knows the damage they caused and that is why they had my husband sign the Bill of Lading before the cars were anywhere he could actually inspect them. They purposely kept the vehicles raised on the flatbed until all the paperwork was signed. When I called their insurance company, RIS Insurance, the agent told me that she receives complaints about Express Delivery “quite frequently” and that my situation did not surprise her.

Check out the Better Business Bureau of Washington state!!! Express Delivery has complaints!!!

Moving is hard enough without having your vehicles crushed. It’s even worse when the movers prove to be deceitful and deny responsibility. I hope no other consumers have to go through what we’ve been through. This is a terrible ordeal that could have been handled promptly if Express Delivery had been true professionals, or at least good people.
