The problem is that Express just brokers the shipping out to some guy who owns a truck. If there is a problem, they tell you to contact Joe Schmo who they sub'ed it out to. In my case, Eagle Transport was the Joe Schmo and he damaged my classic vehicle. To Express's credit, they did have an attorney who made an effort to contact Eagle but this unfortunatly went nowhere and now I am stuck trying to get money from Eagle's insurance company on my own. I wish I had known that Express was just going to sub the shipping out and I would have likely chosen someone else. It really irks me that I contracted and paid Express but if there is a problem I have to go deal with some company I have never heard of and did not choose. Not fair at all. In the future, I would use an owner/operator who I can pre qualify and will stand behind the job.
