Express THE BEST in a Clutch

I am in the military and I needed to ship my 1964 Lincoln Continental from Virginia to Kansas. I tried one company at first but they could never give me a definitive date for shipment so I input my info into an online transport clearing house and was called by another company (NOT EXPRESS) who gave me a date and a low rate for shipment. I did leave the car with a friend as I had to head to Kansas. Well, the date promised for pick-up (October 24/25) came and went. Long story short, more than two weeks went by and the car still hadn't been picked up. To top it off, my friend was headed for an overseas assignment within a week and a half so I had to do something.

He did some calling and gave me the number to Express Auto Transport. I called and talked with Tom, then Shawna (with help from Monica) to find out if there was a carrier anywhere near the pick-up point in Virginia. There was- the next day she confirmed with me that the carrier had room and we contracted to have it picked up by the weekend for a comparable price to the 'other' company (who will remain nameless but you may find my unfavorable review of them on this site very soon).

Unfortunately, a combination of my friends complaints to the Better Business Bureau and a notification to the 'other' company that I had contacted a lawyer and that they were in breach of contract, the 'other' company found a carrier under duress (and admittedly committed some of their own $$$ to the driver as an incentive) and called me within an hour after I contracted with Express.

Word to the wise: You get what you pay for. EXPRESS does outstanding service for a very reasonable price. Many 'Other' companys may look attractive with their lower rates and attractive promises, but they just don't deliver, especially when you have a larger vehicle.

I recommend EXPRESS AUTO TRANSPORT to anyone who wants reliable, courteous service and a staff of sales reps and dispatchers who are always available, trust worthy, and won't sell you a load of empty promises. Thanks Express!
