Broker Company gave an excellent sales pitch in moving/shipping my vehicle, but it became a nightmare. Gwen was nice but did not give me the true picture that my vehicle was going to sit for days or weeks before it would actually move to my destination. Then, Joe, the dispatcher sent an email saying they are working on it. After speaking with Joe, I was informed the Carriers were only interested in long hauls to Florida. My route from Manhattan to Cleveland had very low interest to Carriers and that it would cost a lot more to move my vehicle. A quote should stand as is, and an estimate may cost you more, so I felt we were not on the same page, and Joe seemed not interested in my business. The breaking point was after my credit card number was given, a day later my card was compromised in the same State as the broker. Too quenchadentical! Then, I went through the hassle of my card being cancelled during a holiday weekend, and a new one issued days later. So, my husband wanted to fly to New York and drive my vehicle back to Cleveland. Then, I decided to try another broker and guess what, there are Carriers that do short hauls and are very helpful with the process. I did pay a little more on the shipping costs but we had the discussion up front and felt I was dealing with a more reputable company. My vehicle was picked up and delivered in one day!
