I had never shipped a car before and was pretty clueless, except for reading horror stories online of cars not being delivered on time, damages, cars being held for 'ransom' (higher fees), etc. I went into this with some trepidation, calling about a dozen companies. There are definitely some fast talking salespeople out there, and several companies that operate under multiple names to make things even more confusing. One of the companies I called was Executive Auto Shippers, and I got Betty as my contact person. She is AWESOME! She explained the whole process to me, answering all of my questions patiently. She provided written assurance the cost would not increase over the quoted amount - and held true to that promise. She checked in with me via telephone and email at appropriate intervals, making sure I felt comfortable with the process.
If the world was filled with customer service reps like Betty at Executive Auto Shippers, this would be a much happier place. Highly recommended!
