Exceptional Auto Transport will scam you from the beginning with lies and deceit. They have a "F" Better Business Burrea rating. They work and use the customer like pure snake oil salesmen. I am actually not a newbie when it comes to buying selling and shipping cars. I expressly said from the first contact that I wanted to pay the exact quote price given and not be contacted later with a made up story of needing "extra money" to make the car move. Well the lies started there. Kelly told me that the $525 quote is an accepted rate. From that point on it was lies lies lies. It was weeks of waiting. It started with the "weather" being too extreme to get a driver to pick up the car. Then it was another lie that the drivers didn't want to come up to my town (Santa Barbara) because it is an out of the way are which is complete non sense because this is a major car town with all the high end dealers represented. Further lies were that an extra $100 would be needed because the driver that was to accept my quoted rate "lost his insurance" and could not pick it up. They even tried to get me to accept having the car dropped off almost an hour from my home. This is so they would make more $$ by having a driver deliver it for a lower take on the deal.This company will fake you into believing that they are on your side and are "doing you a favor" by using more of the money to go to the driver after you are locked with the down payment and you have nothing left to do but pay extra to get your car or you will never see it. They use every lie in the book. They will not return your calls ever. You will wait extra weeks, you may never get your car moved. Plain and simple avoid these scam artists like the plague.
