Terrible Customer Service

I am so mad I let myself get overcharged by this company. I should have read their reviews before i signed up, I would have had fair warning. The quoted me a price of $1250 to get my car from San Diego to Key West. This is high because i needed a specific pickup date, and did not want to use a broker. They assured me that they would be using their own truck and that the pickup day, now 5 weeks away, was no problem. I tried contacting them about 10 days out when they said they would have driver name and info, and the lady at customer service said to call back 3-5 days out. This was only after calling and leaving messages that were never returned. Some lines the voicemail had even been disconnected. The only number that I could ever reach anyone was their 1-888 number. So three days out, and I call back, since they just aren't calling me at all. They said that the driver they had found wasn't insured enough for them to go with him. Uh, I thought you were using your own truck??? Nope, they were brokering me out just like the hundreds of other companies could do. At this point they had me. I was on a very tight schedule and did not have time to shop elsewhere. When they finally found a driver, two days out, he offered to take the contract, but only to Miami, not Key West. Well, that is a whole other game. Getting a car from SD to Miami typically runs $800 with a broker. Refund at all? $50. Thanks guys. So i am paying $1200 for you to half-@ss the job that anyone else would charge $800 for. Man, I will never use this company again. Just terrible, terrible customer service, and no apologies for all the changes with the original agreement.
