My transport request started out towards the middle of March. The initial paperwork says 1-10 days for pickup and then 1-4 days for transport, but what everyone needs to remember is that is a perfect world. Between the gas prices and the amount of carriers falling out of the market, transporting an SUV across the country is a difficult proposition.

We initally had this setup for drop-off in San Antonio, TX. We waited almost 4 weeks for a transport carrier to pickup the vehicle in Longmeadow, MA and drop it off in San Antonio, TX, but Jeff and I both realized that this just wasn't going to happen. I did my research and realized that Houston, TX, is a carrier hub for vehicles coming off and on the ship channel and is a crossroads for those vehicles being dropped off in the East and heading to the western states. When I switched my transport request to Houston, TX, Jeff was able to find a truck within 4 hours of the time I had requested him to make the change.

At that point, the carrier picked up the vehicle early. We figured he was going to pick it up on April 7th, but the driver wanted to pick it up that evening instead so he could get a frest start in the morning. We appreciated his determination in getting the vehicle to Texas, knowing our situation, as quickly as possible. The estimated delivery date was April 13th, and the driver dropped off the vehicle a day early, on April 12th.

We did have one dilemma, there was a low-clearance bridge to the address I had given him to in Houston, TX, and he did not want to take the chance of damaging his truck and/or the vehicles on-board. Understanding, we switched address and he dropped it right at our driveway.

Overall, I would definitely use Evergreen Transport again and recommend them to my friends. Jeff is a great contact and has the best service out there and really appreciated his determination in getting my vehicle delivered and his promptness in returning the MANY phone calls I had made during my transport order.
