I received my order (chest freezer) with two very visible holes in the box, one had long scratches in the paint and the other much lower appeared to be the dent from a toe of a boot. I am assuming once they seen the damage caused, someone in frustration kicked the box. That dent is much larger and not attractive for a product in the home. The manufacturer is being great and sending a replacement. They delivered the box this morning and ran without making contact, I am sure since the individual did not want feedback for the damage.
