After a plethora of texts and phone calls daily for months when I was just starting to think about shipping my Harley and a car to my two adult sons in Florida, I finally was ready and reached out to this company. They asked for a contract immediately to be signed and deposits the next day on my two vehicles that I was shipping from California to Florida. I assumed that they had a carrier in place as my contracts stated pickup about two weeks later for 2/12/24. Totally flaked on my pickup. I had no response from the text messages I sent to confirm the week before the Monday pickup. I called customer service the Saturday before pickup and they said someone was calling me back shortly. No call. Monday came and no pickup and I found out that they never had a driver for either vehicle. Multiple texts and phone calls from now the two people who were “handling” my shipments with multiple excuses, multiple times saying that they were in business for 15 years and they were in good with the drivers. They even went so far as to make the excuse that “drivers don’t want to go to Destin Florida.” WTF?! They didn’t honor their contract and charged me extra, made me sign a new contract for the Harley shipping without an eta for the car. 5 days later, still no pickup date. I contacted another shipper who said they had my shipment on the central dispatch site for over $300 more than the contract for the car was. I’m sure they would have increased it until they had a carrier that would accept it and then they would have changed the contract with the car as well charging me more money. I finally went through a company that doesn’t charge a deposit until they have a driver who actually has accepted the route and fee. Do not go through this company. I fully intend to make a complaint with the governing agency who their brokerage license is held, the DOT, Better Business Bureau and I’m going to sue them for damages incurred (extra costs to ship and time spent with dealing with them) in small claims court for their breach of contracts.
