I decided on Eco movers for price and the understanding that they claim they are not a broker service. The movers that arrived were under a different name (United Moving Services).

The good: they arrived for pickup on time. Did a very good job packing and loading my stuff. I even gave them a healthy tip in hopes that the good gesture would pay it forward to delivery. They were very professional and polite prior to getting their money.

The bad: Upon arrival they more than doubled the estimated quote Rachel provided was$1569, the actual cost was $4180.

When speaking with Rachel I expressed a desired delivery date of 9/1/2011. The date I arranged for delivery was totally ignored.

9/1/2011 - I called for a status update and the only answer they could give is that my belongings should be there in a few days. They could not give me an actual date. They have no tracking or logistics. To add to my frustration when I pushed for a definative delivery date they informed me that they can legally take up to 30 business days to deliver my belongings. After reading the fine print in the contract I discovered that you can pay extra for guaranteed delivery; however, both this and the 30 business day delviver were not disclosed.

9/2/2011 - Although they are a small company the owner refuses to entertain customer calls. No wonder given the poor quality of service.

Overview: Professional and courteous prior to getting your money.

Hopefully this review will help others from experiencing the nightmare they are putting me through.
