I contracted with the carrier on a Tuesday, they picked up a car in Missoula, MT, a fairly isolated city, on Friday, and the driver delivered it to me on Labor Day, 3 days and 2200 miles later. The car was in excellent condition. there was surface dirt, easily washed off, and to be expected on an exposed transport of such length.
