I want to distinguish between Easy Car personnel who were courteous and helpful and the transporter who was absolutely terrible. The price was average and fair however we did not get the promised service of door-to-door pickup and delivery. My negative experience was with Avrora Express, Inc.

The transporter was rude, uncooperative and surly. On pickup he pushed for a 9pm pickup two days before start of availability to accommodate his schedule. I agreed to this to be helpful but had to argue with him to come closer to my house and not the location he chose 1 mile away. Because it was dark, he marked the inspection documents as "carrier is relieved of responsibility for damage that is impossible to detect due to weather conditions or dirty" because it was night time and too dark to inspect. The car was not dirty, it had been through the car wash the day before. Fortunately the car arrived undamaged.

The worst part was delivery. He refused to come to the town of Somerville where my daughter lives (and the address for delivery) and insisted that my daughter meet him in Boston almost 4 miles away in what turned out to be an unsafe location on the side of a highway. We offered options other than her home address closer to where she lives but he refused. She had to take extra time off work to travel to this location, two towns away. She had to wait on the side of a busy highway while he unloaded her car - in the meantime the police showed up and told him what he was doing was illegal and he needed to move. He ignored the police.

I am appalled at his behavior and strongly recommend you do not contract any further business to him or Avrora Express. Rudeness, 100% lack of customer service, failure to comply with the agreement of door-to-door pickup and delivery and illegal behavior should not be tolerated.
