Delivery Time

My first contact was with a gentleman named Frank in dispatching. I asked him two important questions, the first being how long would it take to have my car delivered the 793 miles between Oregon and California. His response was approximately 2 days, but I would need to speak with the driver directly to get an exact time. The second question was in regards to cancelling the shipment if needed and what would be the requirements for that. His response was, "Why would you need to cancel?" and then he informed me that if I need to cancel, just give him a call.
After giving him a $100 deposit he faxed my a copy of their contract for me to sign and return. After reading it, I became aware that the contract states that if I need to cancel the shipment I needed to do it in writing and that my $100 deposit was non-refundable.
The driver was to contact my 24hrs prior to picking up my car, which didn't occur. I finally had to call EZAM myself to find out when he would be arriving.
When the driver finally did arrive he stated that it would take four days to deliver not the two, which I was OK with.
At this point, I am still waiting on my car and we are on day 13. I have incurred over $200 of car rental fees because of this and not only has the driver lied to me on numerous occations about deliver times and dates, the company customer service employees and "Joe" the ower have not returned my calls.
Please be careful. Learn from my errors. Do not place a deposit without having their contract sent to your first. Read it carefully.

THIS LADY LIVES IN A ZOO AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH. THE DRIVER MADE SURE THAT HE WAS IN CONTACT WITH HER THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE TRANSPORT AND SHE WAS 100% AWARE OF THE SITUATION. DURING TRANSPORT, THE DRIVER HAD MINOR DIFFICULTIES WITH HIS ENGINE AND HAD HIS TRUCK REPAIRED MID-ROUTE. THERE WAS SLIGHT DELAY AND THE DRIVER HAD TOLD WENDY EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON. THE REVIEW SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE TRUCKING COMPANY THEMSELF, NOT OUR COMPANY. WE HAD THE VEHICLE PICKED UP EXACTELY WHEN SHE ASKED FOR AND WE WERE VERY POLITE IN DOING SO. WE MADE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS TO CALL BACK, BUT SHE DID NOT PICKUP.
